Although diabetes is a problem that affects such a vast cross-section of the population, surprisingly not much is known about the disease.
In fact, there are many organizations that are trying to pinpoint exactly what causes diabetes and how to stop it before it starts, but there is still much work to be done.
Organizations such as the Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation, or DAREF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Diabetes Research Institute and the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation are some of the more prominent institutions that are attempting to learn more about this chronic illness.
On this site, we have also included our research into this disease, in the hope of spreading the word that early detection is key to recovery. Only by providing research and making it easily available of the signs and symptoms of diabetes or any other disease, can we hope to increase awareness and prompt sufferes to take quick action.
